ปราสาทบันทายสรี เป็นเทวสถานขนาดเล็ก แต่มีความงามทางด้านลวดลายเป็นเลิศ ศิลปะมีลักษณะพิเศษจนต้องจัดให้อยู่ในยุคราว พ.ศ.๑๕๑๐ ถึง พ.ศ. ๑๕๕๐
การก่อสร้างใช้หินทรายสีชมพู เนื้อละเอียด การสลักลวดลายจึงดูอ่อนช้อย มีความคมชัดลึก มองดูเหมือนมีชีวิต ปราสาทแห่งนี้แม้จะเล็ก แต่สวยงามน่าประทับใจที่ได้เห็นเพราะเป็นปราสาทที่สวยที่สุดประดุจ"เพชรล้ำค่า"
Banteay Srei is a small religious place but has excellent beauty value of motifs, the art of which is so unique that it needs to be made particularly grouped as Banteay Srei Style. This temple was made of fine pink sandstone, making the carvings clear and lively.
Thought small, this temple impresses the viewers as it is as beautiful as "Precious Diamond".
